Three days before the treatment, avoid sun exposure and tanning beds. Wear an SPF moisturizer if you must go outside during the day. Cleanse your skin on the day of treatment.
Avoid hot temperatures such as saunas for 24 hours after treatment. If you shower, use lukewarm water. For the first 48 hours, don't use skincare products containing tretinoin. Other items to avoid include:
The new skin cells produced during the treatment are sensitive to the sun. Make sure to wear an SPF moisturizer. Limit the hours you're out in the sun.
