(Don’t worry, we’ll help determine which is best for you!)
Yes! Dermal fillers are considered a non-surgical, minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment. Since every patient is different, we’ll make sure to work with you to create a customized treatment plan that works for your skin and expectations.
Together with your injection specialist, we'll discuss areas of concern along with treatment options to determine the best approach. This is a noninvasive treatment, so you'll be in and out with minimal to no downtime. Results are seen quickly. The results of dermal fillers aren't permanent and can last anywhere from six months to a year.
The results become visible after one week. You’ll be able to see improvements on your skin the same day of treatment.
You can prepare for your treatment in a variety of ways. We recommend following these instructions:
One week prior
Don't take blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, Motrin, or ibuprofen. You shouldn't consume primrose oil, garlic, and vitamin E supplements.
Three days prior
Take Arnica to prevent bruising. Avoid putting topical products on your skin such as retinol, retinoids, glycolic acid, and anti-aging. Don’t wax, bleach, tweeze, or pet hair removal cream on the treatment area.
24 hours prior
Don’t consume alcoholic beverages.
Cleanse your skin with a gentle cleanser on the day of your treatment.
Avoid massaging the treated area. Use a cold pack and Arnica topically one hour after the procedure to reduce bruising. Don't sunbathe, tan, steam in a sauna, hot tubs, or wax until the swelling or redness fades. You may massage bumps to soften their appearance. Firm areas soften in one to two weeks. Ensure that you only use a gentle cleanser with natural ingredients on the treated areas. Call your doctor or us promptly for medical care if you have a fever or chills, discolored scars in other areas that weren't injected, aches, or rashes.
The results can last several months to years. It depends on the type of filler used, and the patient injected.
